Dual laminate piping has many advantages over steel, FRP and straight plastic piping. Dual laminates assure structural integrity over plastic pipe, improve corrosion resistance over steel piping, and adds an additional layer of corrosion resistance to FRP systems. When compared to steel, dual laminate piping allows for much easier lifting and installation. Dual laminate piping is available from 1” to 24” in diameter, ductwork is available from 24” to 60”.
Dual laminate flanges have a number of benefits compared to their steel counterparts. High strength, low thermal conductivity and cost-effectiveness are some benefits, along with superior corrosion resistance.
All Superior Dual Laminate products are sold as pipe spooling solutions customized per order. Fittings include the elbows, Ts and other parts, such as gaskets, that make the entire spool flange to flange. As with other FRP parts, fittings can be easily fabricated into a wide range of sizes.
All SDL dual laminate bonded pipes, flanges and fittings are constructed with a thermoplastic liner interior and a fiberglass-reinforced plastic (FRP) structure wrap exterior. Sold customized as a pipe spool, different materials of construction can be used to meet the corrosion characteristics of a particular chemistry, including PP, PVC, CPVC, PVDF, ECTFE, ETFE, PFA and more. Our highly skilled welders and FRP technicians can fabricate component parts and spooling to meet the rigors of the toughest applications.
